Chris Case is the Managing Editor of VeloNews Magazine. He joined VeloNews as managing editor in 2012. Chris has a regular series called “A Case for Suffering”, which includes tales of the La Ruta Mountain Bike race (A three day mountain bike event across Costa Rica) and Dirty Kanza 200 (a 200-mile gravel race). In his own words, Chris “needed a new challenge”, which led him and his colleague and friend Nick Legan to try Cycling’s Hour Record.

Nick Legan jumped straight into wrenching for a few years at the Pro Peloton bike shop in Boulder, CO. He then began a seven-year stint in the professional ranks, most recently working for RadioShack at the Tour de France and the Amgen Tour of California. He also worked for Garmin-Slipstream, CSC, Toyota-United, Health Net and Ofoto. Nick served as the VeloNews tech editor from 2010-2012.

Today on the Cycling Time Trial Podcast, we welcome David Lindsay. David was brought to my attention by his coach Matt Bottrill, as an inspirational story. David has overcome testicular cancer and he is a dedicated time trial athlete. David also does very well with very limited time to train. David is just back from the ametuer World Championships in Denmark, where he competed as a wild card entry.  You can follow David on twitter @DSLINDSAY. Feel free to contact me at ttpodcast@yahoo.com or on twitter @markflorence11. Thanks much for the download and please tell others about the show.
