Nate Lesniewski is an athlete in Tyler, (I think) Texas. Nate is a listener and he got in touch with a suggestion to feature the Cobb saddles on the show. I thought it would be helpful to feature someone that is actually happy with their saddle choice. Welcome Nate Lesniewski!

I remember reading through Velonews Magazine a few years ago and reading an article about chain lubrication. It seems I was likely giving up quite a few free watts just based on my “favorite” lube, which was probably chosen for me by a bike shop employee who happened to be standing next to a display when I asked the question. Can my choice of lube really save all that power? In the years that have passed since then, we know if course it can, and the “friction” industry has grown dramatically. Today’s guest is, in my mind, the guy that started it all. From Friction Facts we welcome Jason Smith!

Part two of our Goals discussion with Coach Tim Ramsden. Tim is an Association of British Cycling L3 Cycling coach and owner of blackcatcyclecoaching.com. This is Tim’s fourth appearance and his other shows on Cadence, Time Trialing for Newcomers and Sweet Spot Training were really well received.
Today we looking at the general topic of Setting Goals. Setting goals is of course something competitors are encouraged to do as it tends to focus training, but we want to delve into how to set realistic and practical goals so that the “journey” of training is rewarding and fulfilling. Welcome back Tim!

This Special Edition of the show is based on an article that appeared in the August 2015 issue of VeloNews magazine entitled “Cycling To Extremes”.
