Bridie O’Donnell is in Melbourne, Australia and on January 22nd, 2016, she will attempt to set the Women’s UCI Hour Record in Adelaide’s Super-Drome Velodrome. The record is currently held by Molly Shaffer Van Houweling at 46.273 KM. O'Donnell won the 2008 Australian national time trial title and has gone on to claim the silver medal in 2010 and 2015, and the bronze medal in 2012 and 2014 since then. She is a 41-year-old physician and she has enjoyed stints of racing in Europe, North America and she has represented Australia at the World Championships.
